    Accessibility Statement

    Our commitment to digital inclusion.

    Last updated: April 1, 2026

    Our Commitment

Coronado Yacht Sales is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our website and custom CRM tools are usable by all. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and to comply with applicable federal, state, and local accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), California's Unruh Civil Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 51 et seq.), and California Government Code § 11135.

    Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Coronado Yacht Sales is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard, but we are actively working to remediate these areas through regular audits and updates.

    Standards We Follow

We have designed and continue to improve our website with the following accessibility principles in mind:

    • Perceivable — Information and user interface components are presented in ways that all users can perceive, including text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast, and resizable text.
    • Operable — All navigation and interactive elements are fully operable via keyboard. We provide skip-navigation links, visible focus indicators, and logical tab order.
    • Understandable — Content is written in clear language, forms include persistent labels and meaningful error messages, and the site behaves predictably.
    • Robust — Our markup is compatible with current and future assistive technologies, including screen readers, magnifiers, and voice-control software.

    Measures We Have Taken

    • Implemented a "Skip to Content" link on every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
    • Added descriptive aria-labels to all interactive elements, buttons, and navigation regions.
    • Ensured all form fields have associated <label> elements and do not rely on placeholder text alone.
    • Provided high-contrast focus rings on all focusable elements for keyboard navigation.
    • Used semantic HTML landmarks (<header>, <main>, <nav>, <footer>) throughout the site.
    • Generated descriptive alt-text for vessel listing images using year, make, and model data.
    • Audited color contrast ratios to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text.
    • Ensured the site remains functional and legible when zoomed to 200%.
    • Used aria-live regions to announce form submission results to screen readers.

    Technical Specifications

    • HTML
    • WAI-ARIA
    • CSS
    • JavaScript

    Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some third-party content — including embedded maps, external listing feeds, and certain PDF documents — may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working with our vendors to improve these areas.
